Boudoir Photography – Frequently Asked Questions
The thought of a boudoir session can be intimating and scary. When talking to women about their session, I get asked all kinds of questions. So I wanted to compile a list of my top 12 most frequently asked questions about boudoir photography to give you some insight on preparing for a boudoir session with me!
Do you share my images?
Our number 1 priority is making sure our clients are comfortable, especially with boudoir! This type of photography can be a transformative experience, but it can also be nerve-wracking. We understand that you may be exploring your body and may not feel ready to share your images with others. Perhaps, the photos are meant to be kept private for your spouse's eyes only. We respect your personal preferences and will only share photos with your explicit permission. Rest assured that we prioritize your comfort and will never compromise your privacy.
Do I have to wear lingerie?
Nope! You definitely don’t have to specifically wear lingerie. It's all about your own personality and personal style. There are a BUNCH of outfit ideas other than lacy little things! Get creative and choose something that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

Do you have payment plans?
We offer a few payment options! There is a booking retainer to book your shoot, and the balance is due 2 weeks prior to the date of the photoshoot! If you want more time to be able to pay off the photoshoot, you can schedule it a few months out, and pay it off in payments! Let me know if this is something that you want to set up!
Is hair and makeup included?
Hair and makeup is included in all of our boudoir shoots! I think it’s really important for you to feel pampered, and having your hair and makeup done is a great way to do that! Our amazing team can help you complete your look, whether that’s “I just woke up like this” or Full on glam! You can bring any ideas you want for your makeup and we can try to use it for inspiration!
Do you Photoshop my images?
I do edit your images for light, exposure, and color balance. I do NOT however edit anything “out” that is permanent! I think it can be damaging to have a boudoir session done, and then edit out parts of yourself that make you who you are! Part of the process of accepting yourself and seeing your beauty also means not photoshopping out parts of yourself you don’t like. If there are parts of yourself that are learning to love and aren’t thrilled about, that is okay! We are skilled in posing and lighting to make you look your absolute best and brings out your shine!
Where should I buy outfits?
There are a few places to buy outfits from and it depends on what you are getting and the style of your shoot! Here is a long list to choose from with different style and sizing! Victoria’s Secret, Aerie, Savage X Fenty, Adorreme.com, Torrid, Thistle and Spire, Honey Birdette foreveryourslingerie.ca, hipsandcurves.com. If you are looking for something specific that you can’t find, let me know and I might know where to get it!
What type of print products do you have?
We offer a variety of albums, wall art, and luxury glass boxes with prints in them! The glass legacy box with the 8x10 prints are my favorite. I absolutely love the feel of picking up a physical print, it’s so surreal to see yourself like that! “20 glorious and glossy pages from the boudoir shoot that I flip through myself every chance I get. I think I look at them more than he does. It’s a daily reminder that my self-image has completely changed after having my boudoir shoot.” – Alex, on her experience at her boudoir shoot!
Do you offer digitals?
All of our packages include some sort of print product, but there is also an A La Carte list that you can choose from as well! On this list we have an option to add on digital images! These digital images come in a password protected online gallery, for you to download and share!
