How it All Started...
It was a typical Friday night—one of those where you don’t expect anything too much out of the ordinary. Judy, my work friend, invited me to a Beef and Beer event at Sunnybrook Ballroom, something we’d often do after a long week. At the time, I had already made other plans, so I politely declined.
I ending up sending Judy a text later that night: "Is there still room for me to join?"
"Of course there is!" she responded almost instantly.
When I arrived, I was greeted by Judy and her husband, Ron, along with their sons, Sage and Seth, and Sage’s girlfriend, Lisa. I’d met Sage and Lisa before, and it was a delight to see them again.
The night was buzzing with laughter, music, and good vibes. Seth and I spent the evening dancing, joking around, and talking about everything under the sun all night long. Seth isn't just another guy, he is unique and a wonderful man.
There was a rough storms rolling through with pouring rain, the winds howling, and a tornado came through the heart of Pottstown that night. Judy insisted that I stay the night with such wild weather. I didn’t think twice about it.
The next morning, as I was preparing to leave, I did something completely out of character, I was being bold — I left Seth my number.
I had no idea if he would reach out to me, but as I walked out the door, a sense of anticipation lingered in the air. I couldn’t help but hope he would, even though I had no idea what to expect.
Then, that first text from Seth arrived, and in that moment, everything shifted. It wasn’t just a simple message—it was the beginning of something real. I knew then that we were on the same page, and that spark I felt that night was mutual. That text marked the start of a new chapter for us.
From One Unexpected Night to Forever
What started with a last-minute decision to go out became something real.
Years later, Kelly and Seth stood surrounded by the people who had been part of their journey, ready to promise each other forever.
Their wedding day began with all the anticipation you'd expect—the quiet moments of getting ready, the finishing touches, the nerves, the laughter, and the people who couldn't wait to see Kelly and Seth finally say “I do.”
There were beautiful moments with family throughout the morning, including a particularly sweet first look between Kelly and her dad.
And while there were plenty of traditional moments throughout the day, what stood out most was how much personality and connection filled the entire celebration.
Saying “I Do”
Kelly and Seth exchanged vows at St. Ann's Catholic Church, surrounded by family and friends.
There is something about watching a couple you've gotten to know finally walk toward each other down the aisle.
The anticipation.
The emotion.
That moment when they see each other for the first time.
And then suddenly, after all the planning and waiting, they're married.
A Beautiful Afternoon at RiverCrest
After the ceremony, we headed to RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve in Phoenixville for their reception and celebration.
RiverCrest provided the perfect setting for the rest of the day, with beautiful grounds, elegant spaces, and plenty of room for Kelly and Seth to celebrate with their closest friends and family.
We also made time for portraits at Valley Forge National Historical Park, giving us a completely different backdrop for their newlywed photographs.
These are some of my favorite parts of a wedding day.
Not because everything needs to be perfectly posed, but because it's one of the few times during the day when a couple gets to step away from the celebration for a moment and simply be together.
A little quiet.
A little laughter.
A few stolen kisses.
And the chance to take in the fact that you're actually married.
The Kind of Moments You Remember
As the evening continued, the celebration became exactly what a wedding reception should be: full of people who love you, stories being told, glasses being raised, and a dance floor that gets harder and harder to leave.
There were emotional speeches, parent dances, plenty of laughter, and more than a few moments where you could see just how loved Kelly and Seth are.
And then there were the little moments in between.
The way they looked at each other.
The laughter during speeches.
The hugs.
The dancing.
The completely unplanned moments that no timeline could ever account for.
Those are the photographs I treasure most.
Because years from now, you'll remember the dress, the flowers, the venue, and the beautiful details—but the photographs that bring you right back to your wedding day will be the ones that let you feel it all over again.

Kelly and Seth's wedding wasn't just a beautiful day at RiverCrest.
It was the continuation of a story that started with a last-minute text:
“Is there still room for me to join?”

And eventually, a wedding day surrounded by the people they love most.
